Due to the evolving challenges of the Delta strain, the AKF in consultation with our State Federations has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 National Championships.

To our members, athletes, parents and community - please know that the AKF shares your frustration and disappointment. The National Championships are the pinnacle of our sport in Australia and always bring out the best in our competitors.

I urge our members and families to continue to support their State Federations and individual karate schools. Once again, more than ever they need you so that they can continue to provide such an important and essential service to our community.

We are all facing some challenging times but I know that our true karate spirit will shine through and flourish into the future.
